Anxiety wants you to focus on anything and everything thereby leaving you feeling wrung out and like you’ve achieved nothing. Keep the One who is greater than all things in the centre of your heart and mind, and focus only on today. Remember to make a short list of what is a priority today and stop your thoughts at two thoughts until those tasks are completed.
Prayer: Father today I pray for clarity of thought. May my mind be clear and my heart be at ease in your presence. May my focus consistently return to the hear and now. May I remember to seek you often and stay focused only on today. Amen.
