Tiredness: Breaking the cycle for me is only possible with a daily routine. Catch 22 being that in order to create the routine, you will be tired until your body gets on board. However, it’s worth pursuing so sleep returns! If you need to get up in the middle of the night and wear your mental side out, try reading a book that you’d really have to think about as you read it. For example, trying to read the bible when you’re tired will drain your mental side pretty quickly and have you asleep in no time. Provide that you force your thoughts to focus on the book in front of you. Too often we forget about the book and go back to allowing our thoughts to roam again. It takes time, self discipline and practice to focus, but once you do, you’ll have a created a habit that has you asleep fairly quickly.
